Hi thanks for your question. Package including manual pump which is easy to empty the tank. You don't need to empty .The water tank will not leak, as long as the water does not exceed the water level line. The material of tank is polycarbonate ,no antibacterial function. best regards

How do you adjust the water to make the resistance harder? It was not in the manual.
Hi, You could add water to increase resistance, but pls don't exceed the water level which is marked in the tank
